For this reason Stage6 only works with leading European and Japanese manufacturers of bearings and oil seals such as SKF. The bearings are available in 2 versions - with elastic polymer cage for competitions (less friction) and with sturdy metal cage for daily use on the road and therefore greater reliability.

Both types are also suitable for speed; very high and have the right clearance to ensure maximum smoothness (C3). A prerequisite for longevity of the bearings is, of course, to ensure sufficient lubrication and proper installation of the bearings and crankshaft. The advantages of the polymer-plastic version compared to metal cages are the greater elasticity; and the reduction of friction.

The metal version is; more robust and heat-resistant of the plastic cage and & egrave; ideal for daily use.
